It’s hard to believe it’s September now, with fall just around the corner. Despite all the challenges the coronavirus has presented, we’ve been tremendously fortunate at Grunder Landscaping to have had a strong summer, fueled by our dedicated team and valued clients. I hope you’ve had a winning season, too.

At GLC, when it comes to showing our clients we appreciate them, nothing is more important than doing good work and delivering on what we promised. After all, that’s what our clients are paying us for. But we’re also always on the lookout for ways we can do a little more, and stand out as a company who cares. In this week’s Great Idea, I share with you what our sales team came up with to thank our best clients for their business this year:

The water bottles are a small gesture, with a big impact. What are you doing to show your clients you appreciate their business and get more of it? Again, it doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive to stand out—as they saying goes, it’s the thought that counts. In the past we’ve given baskets of local food favorites, bundles of flowers, and even leftover mums when we over-ordered our fall floral. Sometimes just a sincere, handwritten thank-you note is the most impactful of all.

I hope you’re taking time this Labor Day weekend to enjoy the last of summer with family and friends. As always, if we can help you at The Grow Group, drop us a line at grow@growgroupinc.com.

I’ll teach you everything I’ve learned in 37 years of business and help set you up to get the results you deserve.
