We know from our experience at Grunder Landscaping that it’s often much easier to land a sale when you can actually get in front of a prospect. Yet it can be a real challenge to convince folks to meet with you and to find time on their busy schedules. In this week’s Great Idea, I share four tactics to help you improve your odds:

Get in front of more prospects by:

  • Explaining to them up front the benefits they’ll receive by meeting with you. Focus on what’s in it for them, not you. 

  • Accommodating their schedules. Make it it easy for them to do business with you.

  • Avoiding commission breath. No one wants to be around that!

  • Setting up a Zoom meeting, if they’re concerned about safety. Done right, these can be just as effective as in-person appointments, and they can even save you money by reducing drive time.
