And back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Over the past couple of months, our team has been readying our 2025 marketing plan for Grunder Landscaping Co.(GLC) and Grunder Green. We've been looking back at what worked well for us in 2024, deciding which new tactics we wanted to try, talking about budgets, and setting our priorities. As marketing manager for these two teams in addition to my role as content & event manager at The Grow Group, I know that any preparation we can do in the fall will make it easier for us to hit deadlines when they approach right around the same time our Grow Group team gears up for GROW! 2025.

In our planning, there were two marketing priorities that emerged for 2025:

Social Media Advertising
We've done social media advertising in past years, but we've committed more budget to this tactic for 2025. There are two reasons we're doing this. Firstly, the shifting demographics of the homeowners we want to do landscaping work for. We know that young families are a key target demographic for us, and we know that the adults in those households are spending more time on social media than other generations did. Second, we're expanding into Cincinnati where we have less brand recognition.

I'll share more information on our plan, what we've done historically, and my tips for targeting audiences during a breakout session at GROW! 2025.

A Website Relaunch
We're blowing up our GLC website and hope to relaunch it with a renewed content strategy towards the beginning of 2025. This priority was in part inspired by Taylor Langley of Landscape Workshop, who shared during our 2024 tour of their facility how instrumental their SEO strategy has been to their success in new markets. There were a few issues with our existing website, but the most glaring of them was that its design no longer matched our strategy or ideal client.
We had pushed our existing site structure to its limits with band-aids, but it's time to start fresh and better tell our story online.

I'm really excited that Taylor has agreed to share her knowledge once again by leading a breakout session at GROW! 2025 - I plan to be in the audience of that session myself! Her knowledge of digital marketing tactics is something I think the entire industry can benefit from as demand for our services has slowed. Will I see you there?
