We know from our experience at Grunder Landscaping that it’s often much easier to land a sale when you can actually get in front of a prospect. Yet it can be a real challenge to convince folks to meet with you and to find time on their busy schedules. In this week’s Great Idea, I share four tactics to help you improve your odds:
Get in front of more prospects by:
Explaining to them up front the benefits they’ll receive by meeting with you. Focus on what’s in it for them, not you.
Accommodating their schedules. Make it it easy for them to do business with you.
Avoiding commission breath. No one wants to be around that!
Setting up a Zoom meeting, if they’re concerned about safety. Done right, these can be just as effective as in-person appointments, and they can even save you money by reducing drive time.
