GROW! 2025 will feature Hidden Creek Landscaping as our tour host, and as part of the event we'll learn directly from their talented team, find out the ins-and-outs of how they operate, and also walk through their facility to understand how they set themselves up for success.
Without a doubt, one of Hidden Creek Landscaping's strengths lies in the sales they're able to find and close. 30% of their annual business comes from designing and installing pools, equating to about $6M in annual revenue each year. And yes, this is in Columbus, Ohio: not exactly the first market you think of when you're thinking of a great place to be a pool contractor.
Having grown up in Ohio myself, I feel the need to pause here and say one thing: Ohio is warmer than you're all thinking it is. It's typically warm enough to swim from at least Memorial Day through Labor Day, but there's always a chance the swim season lasts longer into the fall.
Back to the point: regardless of the market, we're pretty sure the Hidden Creek Team could sell a pool in the Arctic Circle if they put their mind to it. There are a few things I see them do well that inspire this level of confidence:
They do great work.
This is always step one to making sales: doing great work on the job you're currently doing. Word of mouth will always reign supreme, make sure you're delivering on your promises each time you set foot on a job.
They're professional networkers.
Jason Cromley, one of the company's founders, is especially skilled at networking and making friends. This organically leads to sales, but he's also great at asking for the sale. He has the skillset to turn those relationships into work for the company.
They're meticulous about their brand.
They pay special attention to their brand and all the touch points: thinking through everything from the functionality of their website, the branding on their trucks, the look of their facility, and the way they set up the room they use to meet with clients. It all impacts the experience clients have at each stage of the process, which helps them close sales.
In addition to the in-depth learning we'll do during our dedicated tour time with the Hidden Creek Team, Jason will spend an additional breakout session detailing all that goes into finding and selling to clients who have budgets for jobs like these:
Are you looking to find and close six-figure sales in 2025? Whether they're residential or commercial, there will be tips at GROW! 2025 that will help you do just that. Will we see you in Columbus, OH on February 24-25?
