The weather keeps us on our toes year-round, and no doubt each team has their own amateur weatherman or woman who looks ahead at the forecast to try to plan the week ahead. In the wintertime, many of us are closely watching for snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
As I'm writing this, we're watching the weather and have potential snow coming this weekend. Our crews will be ready once it goes, and knowing that many of you are in the same boat I wanted to share the best tactic we use to effectively manage snow events at Grunder Landscaping: Communication.
As you all know, when inclement weather is coming our clients have many other things to worry about other than their property. Whether it be school cancellations, changes to their schedule, or that last minute grocery run. They have enough to worry about and we don't want our clients to wonder when we'll be on their property, or to worry that we aren't watching the weather.
So to be proactive, and not reactive, we have set up automated communication that goes out as winter weather is moving into our area, hours we plan to be on their property, and when our crews have finished treating their property. They know when to expect us, when we're there, and when we're finished. The communication builds trust, and helps property managers sleep well knowing that we're on it.
Come see our operation for yourself this month at our Grunder Landscaping Co. Field Trip on January 27-28. You'll tour our shop and yard, get full access to our leadership team to ask any questions you have, and will learn about every aspect of our business and what makes it run. Or, join us for GROW! 2022 where we'll have a session dedicated to sharing everything that Grunder Landscaping Co. does to effectively manage snow events
Talk to you next week!
