Last week we were in Sarasota, FL for our annual ACE Summit where our ACE Peer Group members came together to (safely!) network and learn from their fellow landscape professionals.
This year's Summit was focused on teaching owners and leaders how to empower their team to new heights. In order to empower your team, you have to have a clear vision for where the company is headed, and defining your strategy is a key first step. Listen below as I share what you should be thinking about as we head into the final months of the year:
Last week we shared how you can define your UVP to build a strong strategy from it, and this week we think it’s important to highlight the hardest part about strategy: sticking with it. The truth is that life happens and it’s pretty easy to get distracted and abandon the goals we set in January when we’re overwhelmed with work in April. Planning for 2021, and specifically planning for how you will stick to your strategy when the team gets busier, is key to success in the coming years.
Later this week, on Thursday, November 19, Vince and I will lead three live, online sessions to help landscape professionals create a strategy, do the work to stick with it, and evaluate the success of their plans. You’ll leave with the first step of your 2021 strategy planning done, equipped with the skills to see your goals through. I hope you'll join us for Sticking with Strategy.
If we can help you with anything, drop us a line at grow@growgroupinc.com. Otherwise, we’ll talk next week!
