Many landscape pros—myself included—went into this industry in part because we can’t bear to sit behind a desk all day and because we love the great outdoors. But that love also means our businesses can depend on the whim of the weather, and when rain hits like it did for my company at the end of this week in southwest Ohio, you need to have a plan.

So on Friday I grabbed a few minutes with Grunder Landscaping Co. general manager Seth Pflum, a master of efficiency and accountability, and asked him how GLC stays focused and productive no matter what Mother Nature brings:

Do you have a good plan and protocol for rainy days? Do you have a winning mindset? If you don’t, spend some time this week focusing on ways you can make your team’s approach better. I’ll guarantee you’ll be glad you did.

Have a great week!

P.S. We’re holding a special one-day $uper Sales Bootcamp in Cincinnati on Friday, June 7. If you want to meet and exceed your targets this summer and fall, I’ll show you the tricks and tactics that work for us, year after year, at GLC.
