Having specific goals for the year ahead is important for setting priorities and aligning your team for success in this new year. This year, Grunder Landscaping Co. has three goals:

1. Sustainable growth
2. Improving our culture
3. Reinforce quality standards

In the video below, I explain why we decided these would be our priorities for 2021 and how we’re already working to achieve them:

Right now a major priority for GLC is working on a project that falls within the goal of sustainable growth: having the team members we need to do the work we expect to sell. We’ve projected how large of a production team we will need, and have applied for H-2B workers to supplement our workforce. But with the uncertainty in the H-2B program, we’re also creating a backup plan for finding labor in case we don’t get the workers we requested. That plan includes looking for potential candidates in new places, working with local schools to recruit students, and an advertising plan for getting the word out on open positions.
